Why You Should Attend

Record to Report Process Owners Meeting: Quality and Speed

During the current financial crisis, cost cutting, headcount reductions and efficiency are the key areas of focus. Whereas a lot has been done already for end-to-end process optimisation of related processes such as P2P and O2C; R2R is the last and the most complex process for companies to target in terms standardisation and automation. Yet, it also has a lot the potential areas to still attack in terms fighting for efficiency gains and to lighten up the end-to-end cycle in terms automation and need to for human intervention.  The early achiever companies with world class R2R functions have already achieved quite positive results and savings in this field will share their findings.

This marcus evans R2R conference will gather in-house R2R professionals from various industries to discuss and compare the challenges and difficulties they face with implementing, optimising, continuously improving and innovating the R2R process as well as how to best align it with ever changing business context. The discussions and case studies will be always around practical experiences of in-house corporates with various facets of the R2R function, whether centralised, in a SSC or partially outsourced. We will look into various R2R setups within the organisation, while special focus will be given to the process areas which take too much time, resources or create unnecessary bottlenecks and inefficiencies like accounts reconciliation and reporting. Other important issues to be looked at would be the KPIs for the R2R function, benefits and practicalities around setup and use of a global chart of accounts as well as developments and feasibility in capturing taxation within the R2R function and many more. This marcus evans event will serve as an excellent platform for experience best practice exchange to promote further improvements in the record to report domain.
