Liquidity Management, ALM and FTP

Benchmarking regulatory requirements and best practise for ALM and liquidity management across the MENA region, including liquidity stress testing, the Basel regulation and Funds Transfer Pricing

28-29 March 2016

Conference Workshop

The deposit outlook in MENA: Understanding the regulatory and internal pressures that are impacting your retail and corporate deposits

This workshop will analyse the value of deposits for the bank. There will be an assessment of the current rates offered to customers compared to the benefits they offer the bank. Participants will profit from learning about the regulatory requirements and uses of deposits including stress test scenarios and LCR mitigation.

Why You Should Attend

Liquidity Management, ALM and FTP

This premier GFMI industry meeting will provide an in depth analysis of the regulatory pressures that are impacting treasury departments across the region. There will be a holistic view of the MENA market which will consider both regulatory expectations and the general macro-economic environment in which banks have to operate. This will include a birds-eye view of both oil and real estate price drops. The meeting will then provide an in-depth analysis of the Basel implementation with specific reference to the LCR and questions surrounding HQLAs. With stronger demands for stress testing; scenarios, operational challenges and data will all be evaluated. In extension the conference will provide a step by step process of best practice for creating and maintaining an FTP curve for both Islamic and commercial products
